So. Got a text from MiL. Her ac crapped out. So I dig through one of our containers find my old portable unit, load it into the truck and away I go. Had to also stop by the hardware store to get some ducting and painters tape too cause it’s one of the stand up units that’s needs to be ducted to outside. So I get that all set up for her, set up misters for her flock and head home to check on my girls and peach.
She ended up blowing the circuit/fuse/whatever you want to call it. Texts me in a panic. I try to walk her through it but she doesn’t even know where her electrical panel is...I give up. Let me have my lunch in peace...I may check on her in a bit to see if she’s figured it but I don’t want to hop on big Bertha to hear back over there.
Yes this is the MiL we hadn’t had any contact with in two years until sis in law’s high school graduation.
Hubs is still at work....the West fire is at 400 acres and only 30% contained so I have the feeling I won’t see him a while.
Alley - dang sweetie you are a cutie! Don’t you dare ever think otherwise!!
Camping - i’m still waiting for that Time...I’m wondering if me taking the test after work may have given a false negative - since admittedly I do drink a whole lot at work. (Water and iced tea guys! I do have a heck of a commute!) so next time I’m oot and aboot I’m getting another broody test and I’ll take it in the am. Though I won’t get on insurance til next month...Well. I don’t really know what doctors would do if I am broody anyway that early on. Hubs has made his dislike of procreation abundantly clear... BAH NO STRESS HERE EH
Bright side, Buffy and Sansa look like they’re coping with the heat a bit better today.
