Feeding Instructions:
Feed Purina Flock Raiser as the sole ration to free-range and confined chickens, ducks and geese from hatch until laying age (about 18-24 weeks; see number 3 below). For free-range and confined turkeys, first feed Purina Game Bird Chow Startena as the sole ration from hatch until 8-10 weeks old. Then feed them Purina Flock Raiser until laying age (about 30-32 weeks). At 18-20 weeks of age, feed Purina Layena free-choice to chickens; ducks will begin laying at 20 to 24 weeks of age and geese will begin laying the spring after they are born. Always provide shelter and a constant supply of fresh, clean water. Consumption will vary depending upon season of the year, nutritional needs of the animals and availability of other foods. Caution: Store in a dry, well-ventilated area free from rodents and insects. Never use moldy or insect-infested feed. Important: A feeding program is only as effective as the management practices. Actual results can vary depending upon feed intake, environmental conditions and the quality of management practices.

Hubby did so well today, i actually got out of bed before he did! The dog barked to get out at 9:30, and it was me walking down the hall that woke him. He never seems able to sleep in.
He put the door on the turkey coop and the roof is on as well. Not like i would have done it, but whatever. We got up the 12' panel on the end, the two 8 foot panels on the side! And i built the panel where the door is going to be for the run, and tacked the wire on. View attachment 1460700
You can see hubby working, and the supervisor is getting a nap!

well she has to rest up for the marathon stick throwing/fetching session latter on.

egg float test, Worker grabbed first half of my basket of eggs (freshest) and DD got the last half. Talking 8 dox. here. I water tested the last 4 and they all floated . I went farther and cracked them. They looked and smelled fine. Still nervous I gave them to the dogs. They love me now. I dont think they were bad. Thoughts ?
