Granny's gone and done it again

I have 2 quail that are too small to go in with others. I have 2 guinea keets and one polish chick with boots on its feet. None of them get along and everyone picks on the poor chicken. Had to put it in an incubator with food and water. Tomorrow i am moving the young turkeys into the turkey coop, so i can move some quail into that brooder. Bird juggling time again!

Hubby is already grousing that the power bill went up! Most of my littles are off heat now. I mean duh, the ac is almost always on, fans, incubators, power tools etc. All adds up.

I think when one uses the term LOG, it is only reasonable to expect at least 2 people to move them.


Heck of a deal is what I think.


Sadly the $25 won't cover the cost of the gas to get there and back twice a month.

Is anything oozing from it? She may need antibiotics. It should be almost nonexistent at this point.

Exactly. I’m turning my Bators off this week. No more babies this year. Hopefully everyone molts in the fall and starts laying early in the spring. Riight!? Wishful thinking.

the clinic I worked at was great. Checkup at 7 days post op and it was free and if they needed an antibiotic it was free.
