Granny's gone and done it again

Ha! My exercise program is going great and the quail are willing to participate! I had to chase three of them today! One in the barn, one in the lean-to, and one outside! The cage i am building now has a feature that makes it harder for quail to escape.

a 2 ft moat around the box ??

will be going out again in the am, hopefully Rod has gotten a lot more of the windrow's picked so I can re-rake the areas. I cleaned the gutter's on Robert house today as well and hauled a bunch of junk off the deck to the burn pit. When I left Rod figured he had already hauled the equilivant of about 8 large round bales to the hay room, NOW full and we have expanded into another area. And he only had maybe 1/3 of the good hay land areas picked up.

The borrowed rake works well.

Nope, i make it so the way the door is attached they can't walk out easily if i open the door. Like my duplex quail brooder , if you remember that. I will post pictures of the cage i am working on tomorrow.
I used a double door with my finches. worked great.

What exactly happened to your GM ?
I don't remember the sequence of events exactly. She had edema in her legs and the pills were to get rid of it. She had about 5 things that were supposed to kill her all at once... colon cancer, bacterial infection lodged in her heart, multiple myeloma, broken neck, and the electrolyte problem from taking those pills longer than she should. That's why she fell broke her neck. Wasn't sure if she would make it to my wedding, but she did. She died a couple years after, probably from kidney failure... early 80s

Where ya go Wishing ?
#2 is distracting me playing Harry Potter movies. :hmm
