Yall wanna hear a funny on Wishing ?
She is very frustrated with what I have going on over here. Too much to take care of and more chicks hatching. Coops are a mess . She said if it was her she would just take all those eggs the seramas are sitting on and toss them. I said they are getting ready to hatch I just cant do that. Then today she mentioned it again so I said, I cant, but if you want to go ahead. Theres a bucket. She said are you sure ? Because it wont bother me. I said Im sure but I didnt want to watch. We had a discussion yesterday about when do eggs become chicks and everything. So I walked away. A few mins. later she comes back with an empty bucket . I looked at her and she says, "Their peeping, I can hear them peeping through the shells. I cant do that when their peeping at me. "

There's going to be about 30 new chicks out there to go with the other 30 that are already on the brooders. I don't want to kill anything, but it's too much. And they are adorable.

We are still having lots of thunder.

We went to the steak house. LOL . I didnt eat any chocolate ! Almost. We were done eating and I was on my way out to smoke and passed by the desert bar and there was this new thing and well... I just stood there and ate it instead of going back to the table. LOL

I’d do the same thing.

We'll work on it tomorrow. My hair was way too frizzy today. I got tornado hair!

The loader is the best part! Very versatile. Dad used his to lift engines out of cars when he was working on them.

Oh she’s a grown woman! I was thinking young like under 12 lol I was a vegetarian from 8-19 but with farm life I had no time to be grossed out. I was the one who had to deal with anything disgusting.

Chickens are small raptors, and completely ruthless.

Yep they are. Would be hard for DD1 to have this job if she were 12, the people live about 5 miles away. Also good thing she has her own car. DW was at work and DD2 had a doctor's appointment, I wouldn't have been able to go over and get her out of this emotional jam.

As for the plane being late... we ended up being much later than an hour. Two and a half hrs is more like it! But at least I made it.

At least you got there the same day! DD1 came back from Indiana, had to spend the night at the Newark, NJ airport because the plane they were on got to Indy over 2 hours late. The plan from NJ to up here landed before she got to Jersey. Then she had to wait for a 12:30 flight that stopped at Dulles (VA) before coming north. Sucky trip.

you butter it first ? It dont make a mess ? That would be cool to make garlic toast without having to wait on the oven.

Toast in toaster, butter as usual, sprinkle with garlic powder and Parmesan cheese.

Mince fresh garlic, LOTS of it
Melt butter
Put garlic in butter and cook for a bit, keep temp low.
Brush onto bread
Stick in the oven on broil
Watch closely, no one likes burnt garlic bread!
