Granny's gone and done it again

All the critters are unloaded and put away. I still have some cages and stuff to put away, but its time for a cooling break.
Hubby helped carry the quail condo over behind the chicken coop. I put the roof on and transferred the quail i didn't sell at the swap into the condo, A&M in one side, Jumbo Browns in the other side. The A&Ms have the side with the loft, they are crammed up there rolling and pecking! Too cute.
Phew you & hubby will sleep well tonight:th

Didn't think anyone missed m e. No one replies when o post. Overcome with peas & mators. Been shopping for new GS due 4th of September.
Hey Jane! Congratultions on a new grandson! My first boy was born on Labor Day weekend. Pretty close!

I was the one carrying most everything today. He was asleep while i loaded the truck. And i unloaded the truck too.
He helped me move the condo about 75 feet, and the chicken tractor into the garden, about 15 feet. We loaded the bench i built onto the Mule and took it down by the river. The water level is very low, but they are predicting a lot of rain.

Hi everyone! I think granny is a little worn out (me too!) but we got a lot done... had a yummy breakinner, cleaned poopy baby serama butts, got the fish tank filled up, gave Binks both doses of his antibiotic, cleaned out the teenage serama brooder and quite a lot more. Still raining here off and on too, but no tornado warnings, thankfully.
I have been enjoying getting to know Tom and Robert. Tom is a sweetheart, so cheerful and I can see that he's devoted to Pam... does everything he can for her and always a loving kiss goodnight. :love Robert is a hoot! Super smart and knows a lot... nothing gets by that kid. He has a very funny, very dry sense of humor too. I like him! We are going to have a day out together next week and hit up the Taco Bell for lunch. yummmers!
And Pam... well, I have to say there have been no surprises about our granny. She is exactly as she portrays herself here... full of witty humor and sensitivity, but tough as nails too... curious and interested in everything around her... all traits I admire greatly, but her honesty is the biggest part of her. Don't think I have ever met a more real, more honest person in my life. I tend to be quite reserved and private, but Pam lets you get to know all of her, the good and the bad. That's a kind of honesty I think is very rare these days and something to be cherished. It's hard to see her struggle through her pain, she has so many ambitions and projects she'd like to tackle, but it's tough going. I'll do what I can to help out while I'm here. We are also going to hit up the Chinese buffet here in town next week. It gets very good reviews and has sushi too, so I can gross granny out! :D

Sorry, no pictures today. We were so busy I didn't even think of it. Too bad too, because we both looked STUNNING.
