Mornings, I slept min. 12 hrs. WOW !
I have had the best time with Wishing. She is very sweet and patient . I know I will cry when she leaves. It seems like these days went way too fast. My first ever cut flowers. We ate chinese TWICE ! She has helped with everything chicken. Im afraid I wont be able to keep up with it all and tomorrow there is a swap so hope I can get rid of the littles anyway. It rained here sometime through my sleep.
You guys were on a roll last night . Very funny .

Good morning. Got mostly packed up last night so have a few minutes to say howdy. Supposed to be about 80 today with lower humidity than normal. I think I got lucky with the IN weather... wasn't too bad and there's AC just about everywhere you go.
On my way to granny's soon, then to the Cincinnati airport (in Kenkucky!). hubs said he will come gt me from the airport in San Francisco so I don't have to wait around for the 11pm late bus. Told him he didn't need to, since it's at least a 3 hr round trip for him, but I didn't insist.


Appreciate all the extra effort to save the king snake. They are the good guys!


Me too. I still wish we could have a thread reunion of sorts some day. Red needs to win the lottery and make it happen!

Well I moved the cheap little Tsc coop that the ducks have been living in. Of course the bottom of the coop fell out. Short screws are no ones friend So I fix it and while I’m doing that they are running wild all over the yard catching bugs. Thank goodness they are friendly and we’ve bonded. I whistled and they came running
Magpie and Hershey, those 2 brats took off after I got the other 3 back in the pen.

Magpie is by the food. She’s supposed to be white with a blue back but....

See the biddies behind them? They are in a temporary look but don’t touch pen. The big ones grab them by the necks and shake if they are together long.

And biddies. They’ve slightly grown. I’ve been giving them 20% chick starter to hopefully boost them. Damn cracked corn!

I feel lazy today, don't even want to go outside. It's hot out there! Missing hubby. Maybe if i put sports on TV, it will be like he is here.
I got the back on the bunny cage last night. The ends are easy, just tack on wire. The divider and the front with doors are what eat up time.
And i ripped 2 boards to use as attachment points for the wire on the chicken coop runs. They will get painted today.
Maybe some caffeine wil help. Everyone have a good day!
