Granny's gone and done it again

Mornings, Rough night. fell asleep at 5:30 but kept waking back up in pain so I havent had any sleep.
Bruce, Thanks for the tips. Where were you last night ! haha
Wishing, call Dan,he will be glad to hear from you. LOL Well, yes, the mower has caught the grass on fire before. The grass that was cut last time was very tall and now dry and the bumper on the mower catches it and pushes it along til it gets a big pile up then the heat from the mower burns it. Same reason I got stuck.
Tom just looked at me and said ,Robert cut your toenails ? Cool ! hahaa He dont believe I reached them myself. They sure do feel better.
The lion ! WOW ! I told you about the ones here. scary. I hope neighbor wasnt hinting about your chickens drawing it in.
Robert reminded me I was hammering and drilling yesterday why my hands hurt. I imagine he is right. They are some better today
You should have come on here. I was up! Mowers start fires here, but didn't think it could happen in your green grass. Nothing looked dry there to me. Neighbor was being neighborly, spreading the word about the mtn lion. I blame outdoor cats for drawing it in!! And wildfires... and looking for water... and habitat loss from last year's fires... but never chickens!!!

Sorry you are having pain, but I still think all the extra activity is making you stronger over all. :ya Keep walking, keep moving as much as you can. Reaching the toes was a huge achievement, I know! :highfive:

Thats how I got mine to sleep when nothing else would work. Tom likes to go for drives too. I wished I never had to get in another car.
I like driving when I know where I'm going and can see... day light, no fog.

Yes, we are on a plateau well above the water. It is a very spread out city. Glad i don't have to go there any time soon. Thanks.
Oh good. News said 16' of water will be released if the dam fails. Seems that could end up being higher down stream in a narrower river. Be careful. Water could come up fast.

First time I tried to answer this, I posted ELO again!

She talks politics that he doesn't agree with. If he agreed, he'd love her big mouth! :D

I saw that post and thought about you and your chapstick. Bert's beeswax is much better, though!

They don't.

:lau pooped... like that Hershey kiss of an avatar...
You got poop on the brain!

Oops. Too late. 2 am is almost here and I'm still awake. You will be up in about 2 hours! :frow good morning!

Oh, the guys said the ELO concert was great. Audience was a bunch of us older folks... except for my 16 yr old who loves 70s rock. Poor kid. That's what happens when your parents are OLD. :p

NOT REALLY , NOT fond of "entertainer's " using their "fame" to push any political views. NOW humanitarian is a whole nother issue and all for that .

good something all , crappy night of not much sleep. Think the sucker chair and I have a date SOON.

glad you made it back safe there Alley, please be careful there Cap.

Out here (sw N Dak) we end up with a few fires every year during haying and harvest season. Lots of flint rock which sparks off of metal machinery and the presto "fire"
