Granny's gone and done it again

Wishing, :hugs Whats the chances ? Fire wont come where its already burned down will it ? Maybe go shopping today somewhere air conditioned. Like, IDK, an air conditioning store ?
There are so many standing dead trees on the hills above us and the dry grass is just as high as it was then. A lot of the brush was burned last year, but with the winds, super dry conditions, and all the very dry fuel (lot of dead pines) it wouldn't take much have another disaster. There are already 2 huge fires north of me, not endangering us, but certainly putting a strain on fire fighting resources... and we are only in the beginning half of fire season.
I figure if we prepare to evac, we won't have to. And if we do, then we're prepared.

IF they gave him benadrly he is most likely sleeping. Thats some strong stuff they give you in the hospital. I remember sleeping for 2 days.
Misty, I moved 1household to detroit then 2 here. You need some help.
Holy chit you sound like me we're strong ladies. Before I know it it'll all be over & on to my new mission whatever that'll be:hugs

Yes, I was thinking about doing some shopping. Groceries will melt so I'll bring a cooler.

ahhhh... the breeze must be shifting... little cool air is blowing from the front of the house. Emphasis on little.

She had 4 but Hawk is broody again so I took the 2 that hadn’t drawn down and gave to her. Cornie has 1 blue egg left.

Yes, morning. Not so sure how good.
Long night, little sleep. It didn't cool down much, and with winds and super low humidity (10%) we are under what they call red flag conditions... high fire danger. Last night brought back memories of the conditions that led up to the fire last year. Not much sleep for me.
And since it only cooled to the mid 60s, and that didn't happen until almost 5am, the house is starting off at 70 today. Expected to get to 90, so that means the house will be over 80 by noon. :( Luck I have my fan!

genetics.
lol well the chicken that laid the blue egg is splash and Davey is blue so it’ll either be blue or splash. I hope blue. The one that’s hatched now could be splash or white. Wonder what the legs look like. I’ll get a pic later.
