Granny's gone and done it again

I remember when I first started working at the bar. My first paycheck I went out and bought myself a t shirt and a beautiful yellow dress. They were both busts. I thought I was doing a public service with the t shirt til I realized I was actually scaring people away from me. It read. A tiskit a tasket, a condom or a casket.
The beautiful yellow dress, I wore it outside once and the bugs flocked to the color . They swarmed me. I threw them both in the garbage. Did I ever say I hate clothes shopping ?

Wishing, Not sure of all his goals or if I can explain them right. I will give example. Get his DL. He got his learners but they are not allowed to teach him to drive.
Socialize in public/ make change. He buys stuff on his own. Goal met.
These are not the right goals for Robert and I struggle to figure out what is. Was actually hinting/hoping that since you spent some time w/ him and can explain /speak better then I can maybe you could help me with some new goals ? :fl
I will think on it... very little sleep last night, and hubs and I are heading out to grocery shop. He's gonna drive... I am too tired.
I do think Robert should be involved with the goals. I know they have to be written very specifically. Like you said "make change." Buying something is not the same thing as making change. Knowing how much he is supposed to get back without looking at the receipt is making change, and being able to accomplish this in a real store setting is the goal. I need to know what goals he has had or is working on. Will give me a feel for where he's at.
It would be easier to list goals if he was living where he will probably one day end up... in a town or city. Then you can have things like riding the bus or getting to certain locations on his own. Following a map. Plan an outing for himself... trip to the movies. Paying bills like you've been doing, but there is a ways to go before you can say he's doing that independently. If you want him to drive, you will have to teach him. Maybe when the weather is cooler. Up and down the driveway to start.

I will keep thinking. There are probably some online resources for parents too, so you can look that up when you tear yourself away from UTube!

See ya later. :frow
