Oh while talking to Christy N. and mentioned that I had offered all 3 of the two year olds and 3 of the yearlings to a guy for five grand and he turned me down she actually called him a F*#king idiot and she would have taken the deal BUT she had just purchased a herd of 45 more to add to her ranch, BIG operator and actually the original breeder of Porter

I am thinking of Curly Sue for Sheila's calf then keeping the same letters and she does have the cutest curls in the top middle of her forehead

Is the vet coming out to check her tomorrow? I am still wondering... especially after what happened to Enola.

That's the problem , Robert, Rod and Vickie all have dr appointments in Bismarck tomorrow. BUT in the rodeo grounds we can keep a much better eye on her and check much more frequently

And honestly I think the only way we might get her into the chute safely would be to use the bobcat.

Comet the other "occasionally" crazy one and of course the other cow in the rodeo ground with Sheila, actually climbed over the top of the small 4-wheeler last year when we tried to run them thru the chute to pour them all, of course her calf was also only a few days old. I tell you what that first week or two with a new calf and the mom's are like crazy on steroids protective and dangerous.
