Rain is a good thing!

Two days in a row, i just nicely get going and it rains! So after it quit raining today, i decided to work on putting the flashing on the roof to my lean-to. I get all the tools and the flashing, climb up the ladder and onto the roof. That is when it hits me, the roof is slick as snot! There are leaves, and pine needles up there and it is all wet. But at this point i am up there and charge ahead typical goat fashion. My husband just plain could not stay on the slope last time he tried. I am proud to report that the flashing is installed, although not pretty, it should do the job. And i rehung the door, put a handle on the outside and a latch on the inside for when i am working in there.Done!

no real idea if she did she either ate it or its somewhere in the big pasture. Have NOT seen any clustering of scavenger birds over that way. BUT then didn't with Enola or her calf either. Where's ma nature's clean up crew when you need/want them

And.....i am happy to report that i managed to capture my wayward bunny! I had all sorts of visions in my head that i am going to find him looking like one of the half -a -rabbit carcass hubby reports seeing in the woods sometimes.
I was coming back from the lean-to, and i saw something black in the grass by the house! I told the dog to wait by the house. I ran to the garage and got the landing net. The rabbit got in under the air conditioner, and i blocked one side with concrete blocks. The other side is the house, a third side is the fence to the dog yard. I was on the fourth side. The net kept getting snagged, but i did manage to get it over the rabbit and pull him toward me! Wow , has he ever gotten speedy while loose! When he saw movement, he was off like a shot.
I got the bun bun! So freaking happy!

Good, benadryl saved my life a few days ago..

I think I solved all my extended family problems a few years back.. Had my phone number changed and told my brother and sister that if anyone asked for me, just say "May he rest in peace", just don't say I'm resting on my hammock back of the house..
