Granny's gone and done it again

hahaaa! Yeah, but it's the name you'd pick!

I just wonder how many animals might have the secret trim color that know one has ever seen because how often do you poke your head down there for a look see? I suppose it would show up on the hides of butchered animals...

When they DNA test them, do they test for those traits... trim and imperial and all? If they don't, wonder if they can.

I don't think they do/can. That was the conclusion with one of the "founding bulls" in the yak industry in the US. Prince Allante they decided must have been a "secret trim" as when bred to trim cows and royal cows a royal offspring was often the result.

How much for a young female?
And yours seem to mature quickly, so good selling point!
the prices I have seen on the cows and heifers seem to be holding pretty steady ranging from about 750 to 7500 depending on age, color , and pedigree and size.

Hailey isn't foundation BUT is super wooly so those 2 sort of cancel each other out. The "tameness" also plays a factor. The goldens are rarer so are going for more.

A lot of the breeders are putting their heifers in with bulls when the girls are around 2, so they are 3 when a first time mom, I prefer to wait and let them get a little more size.

The 3 new girls are all in with bulls right now.

So you are getting Sunny and the golden with trim and who else?

the 2, two year olds and then the 9/10 year old mother of the golden trim and also the mother of the golden heifer they still have listed for sale.
