Granny's gone and done it again

Just tell him they are mutated Polish. Maybe in the spring we can swap eggs! I’m not getting too many from them right now. A few are molting and well I think the others are trying for babies.

That reminds me! Egg hatched while I was gone! I seen the chick when I got home and went to lock up. Looks black but may be a dark blue!

Holy chit!
Nah, hubby knows a silkie when he sees one. I would have to get rid of one of my other breeds to get another breed.

You are bad people! Practical self is starting to weaken. There is still one major obstacle... hubs.

I would want to hatch and raise them so they would be friendly and wuv me and follow me everywhere!

This isn't good.

honestly I don't think they are as much work as chicken's until it comes to cleaning the coop.

Also if you fill a kiddy swimming pool you don't have/need to water them daily and you would only need a duck sitter to come over every couple of days.

I can't believe how many people look at the quail and say, what kind of chicken are they?:lau

OMG did you tell them that they are actually chicken seeds just need lots of water and to be planted properly ??

Find someone with day olds that you can bond with. Hatching is risky and a long wait!
My 2 groups are super friendly. The older group I got when they were 3-4 weeks and the others I got at 1 week old. They love attention!
Get one for each person, so you each have your own duck!

you have CCL, buff laced & tolbunt polish, and SS? A little coop with silkies would be ok. Maybe 5 tops. Mom does all the work and you don’t have to use brooder space!
