just spent an hour filling out a form TWICE and talking with ND State Vet, OMG the promises I have to make because the person/idiot I am getting the cows from never bothered to BANGS vaccinate them. I am not allowed to sell any of the girls for 3 years EXCEPT if they are sold for slaughter ONLY and annual forms and what not.

And the BANGS has to be done before a certain age, right? there's no catching it up?
Do you have to have them tested annually?
I think this failure to vaccinate makes them less valuable. The youngest calf should get thrown is as a bonus for all the extra trouble this causes you.

Not yet. I was hoping there would be.
This means she's been gone from home for over 12 hrs. Hopefully they got home okay and she crashed into bed.

Ive got half dead chickens in the silkie coop. My brother was supposed to feed and water everyone in exchange for playing my PS4. Well he didn’t leave the coop open. He shut it up with everyone inside. No water and it was 93* in there. No airflow. I’m pizzed. I feel like dragging him out there and locking him inside. See how he does. I swear I could commit murder and feel no guilt.
Guess I’m locking all accounts and getting up extra early to open everything up.

They did it as outpatient surgery?!?! I would have thought due to his age and other complications they may have admitted him for a bit just in case.

That was the reason I went out there last month, because granny thought he would be going to the big hospital in Cincinnati and I would be able to do the driving for her. GPS and phone service can be spotty in that part of the world, and Pam wasn't comfortable driving into Cincy, but she is fine getting to the vein clinic about an hour away. Same surgeon doing the procedure. I think even at the hospital, it was outpatient.

Killed a venemous snake in the breezeway. I nearly grabbed it. Hope it wasn’t under the hay when I was getting eggs from a hidden nest... but since I wasn’t bitten I guess it doesn’t matter? I did check carefully and move things around to encourage any snakes to move along.

I was working on my trip today and asked for some tips on TripAdvisor. OMG instead I got slow roasted by everyone in England, seemed like. I was asking for ferry crossings and car rentals, but they were saying the driving Europe isn’t the same as the Midwest (?) and that I’m rude for leaving the wedding reception early. I finally told them I wasn’t asking if they thought me capable of driving, just the best method of getting there.

Old enough to know better. For supposedly being the smart one of the family “he claims”, he sure is beeping stupid about everything. He must take after my dads side, they are all entitled idiots.

Hi all, Long day and lots of problems but surgery was a success despite the problems and there were many

We were told to go to the basement to register @5:30 . It was empty so scrambling through the hospital we found someone to help. She was pissy . After signing everything she then gives me a paper saying drs come in from different hospitals that may not accept insurance and to check out insurance to see if it will be paid for. A little late I would say. Then she ask me why dont I let Tom sign his own papers ? He is a grown man . I said because he cant read. I said make sure you dont leave this room with out me Tom and told her I would be right back.She said well hurry up I have other things to do. I said yes Maam I will be back in less then 5 mins.
20 mins later I came back and said ok, I am ready now. Not another word from her.

Upstairs in his room and I ask for the better bed . Nurse brings waffle mattress . umm Nope, that wont work. She promised to have the good bed before Tom came back and had to lay flat and she did. No complaints there. They prepped him and took us down stairs. My "waiting room" was the cafeteria w/ solid wood chairs. Nope, I am going back to his room and you can contact me there. They did. Dr called his room to explain how everything went.
