Look here. I went out to gather eggs and I found Moon Shadow, my Ameraucana cockerel, whispering sweet nothings to one of the Black Australorp pullets as she prepared to lay her egg on the coop floor. I've never seen a male do this before, I was quite touched.

Meanwhile, here was Moon Walker, the other cockerel, outside tidbitting for some of the other hens.
