Granny's gone and done it again

yep and it's a very sad state of affairs when a property owner has no rights.

Did you all realize that a blind person with a seeing eye dog can actually enter the kitchen of any restaurant they chose and even a operating room.

I just don't quite understand how a major airline co, can now refuse to transport Pit Bulls in their cabins now. NEW co policy !! Because to many of their staff and patrons were being hurt from said types of dogs.
There is president for pitty bans. Heck there’s entire municipalities or provinces that ban the breeds.

Again I feel like training must be had for any support animal, for critter AND human.

I know in Dickinson here at one time Law Enforcement officials were allowed to shot any loose/escaped dogs that were pits, pit mixes, dobbies and rotwielers IF they felt threatened or said dog was a "danger to the community"

NOT sure if that is still in effect

Lunchstrocity.

Just did payroll taxes. Oi. 25k to the feds, and almost 4K to the state.

Just more crazy dreams last night. Someone stole my dogs and tied them in the woods. I found them and a mountain lion was just about to grab one and I chased it off and then I dreamed I was at a swap and bought a chocolate turkey.

CVB?
The idea of protecting "service animals" started in the 70's from the Americans with Disabilities Act. The idea being it wouldn't be fair if a blind person had to leave the guide dog outside the building, or any other service animal that was integral for basic functioning of a disabled person. It was pretty obvious, but sharky lawyers have degenerated the intent of the law so that now unscrupulous people use it to transport inappropriate animals for free inside the cabin of an airliner. It's the cheaters that ruin it for everyone else.

I don't think the person with the guide dog would be allowed in an area that restricts other people as well. Is anyone except patients and hospital staff allowed in operating rooms?

Unless things have changed since my dad retired, the captain of the plane has the right (and duty) to remove any person, animal, or object from her/his plane that is deemed a danger to passengers or crew. It is the captain's sole discretion. Of course if they choose wrong, they may be fired after the fact, but captain of the ship is IN CHARGE (or is supposed to be).
Major airline can restrict the "emotional support" animal policy because a) A passenger was attacked and injured by a pit during a flight. b) Abuses of the use of "emotional support" animals have been widely exposed, and public support for the policy is waning. c) The airline has a fleet of high priced lawyers ready to take challengers to court. I hope they do. I hope it goes to the supreme court because the ADA law is being used by people for which it was not intended.
