Granny's gone and done it again

got sort of a latish start this am then picked up 3 new licks tubs. Got to the farm and Rod had managed to lock the main herd in the rodeo grounds last night. So we got them all poured including Porter (who was being a royal PITA) Separated the yearling bull back out, did the once over on the girls, Both Janet and 19 needed a couple spots sprayed with iodine. Janet front to dinner plates are a little swollen. Got main group back into the big pasture. Then tried to get the yearling bull to leave the rodeo ground so we could drive him back to the paddock where his brothers were. NOT happening he is as bad a Crazy Sheila ever was. so locked him in the leantoo in the dark to "calm down" unloaded the new lic's tubs into the rodeo grounds and took the 2 that were in there and partially eaten down to the paddocks. Moved Hailey, calf, Granola, and Martinika over to the west paddock. dumped a load of hay for them and then a load of hay in the se paddock where they were. Got the horse trailer hooked up and we ALL went to to try and load Wagoner and Dumas into the trailer to haul back up to the SE paddock, They loaded with out a problem, and have REALLY SETTLED DOWN now that they are NOT with in smell/eye sight of the main herd. Tried to get Superfortress to cooperate NOT happening so we ran him down to the south end of the tit and left him there by himself.

Then Rod and I fixed the barbed wire fence where the idiot calf tried to jump to get back in with the main herd. He snapped one wire and popped out 5 pound in fence stapples.

Then did some work on the future area to be electric fenced. Caught all the ducks in the annex wearing bands and zip ties and removed them. Also caught the one hen who was walking/waddeling gimpy, She had managed to hobble herself with string from a feed bag. the skin wasn't broken.

We have managed to have 2 hen disappear from the annex. NOT a clue and one of the lings died the other day so down to 5 in the annex and one still brooding.

got home did Angie's pay check and got everything entered in to the computer for the end of the month,

Sorry about your ling. Are they getting fed out there ?
Has Curly changed any ?

well crap that's how tired I be. She is up to about a gallon or a little more in 2/3 feedings a day. Rod had her back in with the chickens today since my "horde" of dogs was coming out. She was having a blast "herding" chickens
the chickens not so much
