Been to every corner of the county. Bought feed at co-op, carried bp meter to daughter. She left it in my truck yesterday. Then went to bank & bk for chicken Sammie. Then to our small town DG for dogfood & popcorn. Im pooped

Hi all,
In Detroit airport waiting for my flight. Glad I am not going to Chicago, I am going through Houston. Some sort of weather in Chicago cancelling flights.

On the way here Chicago was where I changed planes. Had a great time a frankenmuth. At our banquet dinner the owner came out and gave a history of the place. I guess their chicken is world famous. I thought maybe it was a breed of chicken but it the way they cook it. They get a 3.5 lb hen as opposed to 2.5 hen. Not sure what the difference would be. The boil the chicken first, then cut it up, then bread and fry it. It was good but fried chicken is usually good. Anywoo, I will be glad to be home but Michigan is beautiful. Everything is green.

H20, you crack me up! The difference between a 3.5 lb hen and a 2.5 pound hen is about a pound...

Camp, im envious of your trip to Ireland. I would like to live there for a year in thatched roof cottage with sheep in a rock wall fenced pasture.

I went to the swap alone . Im in trouble. I didnt buy a turkey although I could of for $18.-- So I bought a pullet that lays chocolate eggs. LOL wheaten maran I bought a new dog bed for $5.00 . Its a nice one and new. And then somehow this poor little 5 week old snow white kitten with blue eyes ended up in my arms. Not sure how that happened. It has eye infection , ear mites , bony. Pitiful.

You are a sucker for a pitiful case , Granny. Hugs. Eta, i would have wanted to take it too but would likely end in divorce unless i promised to get rid of it once it recovered.

I am hiding out upstairs. Was outside and got wet since it is raining again. It just needs to let up, we had rain last night for heavens sakes!
Supposed to be cleaning my bathroom...would much rather sleep!

I am no doubt. However I havent actually seen the kitten since Robert got up except for bath, ear and eye cleaning.

SOoo... What does one DO with a 5 week old kitten? Does it need to stay in a small room ? Run of the house ?
