I had one chick with a cord wrapped around his leg and it dried that way. But he is fine. Took 3 polish chicks out to the brooder this morning. Had to help one out of the egg.

Just found out today that my "baby" brother got mandatory evacuated yesterday. He said they had "too much warning" as his wife kept finding "treasures" she couldn't leave at home. Plus 2 dogs, his mother in law and the cat it took over an hour to catch.

Lost your quote, wishing. Neat video! I kept watching the storm for funnels but I guess the drafts weren’t rotating enough, or not enough forces up and down? I kept watching for alerts on my phone, too. It was eerie to watch it slowly creep up... at one point it overtook me and I took an exit and jetted the opposite direction. Last exit out of town I was ahead enough to park and watch it roll in again.

I never did get the phone call...

Well. Vampires didn’t want my blood. Their systems were down so they couldn’t look up my requisition! Oops. She told me oh I can call you when it’s back up...I said nah. Nothing pressing I’ve waited over a month anyway to get down here so it can wait a bit longer. I’ll try again next week.

I’m still shocked that they have FULL HALLOWEEN DECOR out. It’s barely September!!!

Hope they don't have any kids coming through there. Scary enough for them to have to get blood drawn... that's just too creepy. I'm not a fan of clowns. Even the smiley ones are creepy.

My friend has put her Christmas stuff up already. Or we’ll never taken it down from Christmas in July.

yep! Way too early. We put ours up 1 weekend in December and it comes down on the 26th
