Granny's gone and done it again

Im home. Moved charger to a different fence post. He is slowly cleaning the weeds & hedges from the pasture fence. All animals are surviving getting fed & watered every other day. Costing me $35 a week in gas to come back & forth. DD is starting back to work full time Thursday. Baby will be 3 weeks old tomorrow. I plan to help her til he's a month old then her 12 & 17 year old dds should be able to handle it or he can spend Friday & Saturday nights with us. Better get the baby bed put up soon.

She has to go back when baby is three weeks? That’s terrible.

Tonight i got another row of welded wire tacked up. Then i ran out of wire and it was getting dark anyway. Did i mention all the turkeys had to inspect the open half of the new coop? All paraded in the door, through the coop, out the window and into the run. All but one made it back out.

I got a start on my barn cleaning, two wagon loads of bedding and bird poo. Hubby thought i had given up on it, but i had chores to do as well.
Pulled weeds in the garden, chopped them up fine and put it in the quail nest boxes. I got a bucket of sand dug and put in a bucket to fill their dust baths.
I got feed and bales of straw. The chickens were all happy in their runs , scratching in the straw for seeds.

For those of you not on fb. I’ve had Yertle for a year! He’s almost 4” now!
