So I have a silkie juvenile with a serious butt problem. I’ve had to cut feathers. Idk what’s up but it keeps getting its butt blocked. This is the 3rd time since it hatched in June. Poop is normal consistency not diarrhea.

squeee !! Its so ugly its cute. haha Its really stuck in the evolution chain hu ? Part duck, part a few different things .I see a mole or vole . Maybe some beaver thrown in for luck.

I pull it off and all the fuzz comes with it then some antibiotic ointment to sooth . I am having the same problems. I NEVER had that problem from my own hatched chicks.

ohh its 3 months ? hmm.. Have you tried the grit ? Its not getting chased away from the water ?

It’s butt was bare for awhile in the beginning. Still got stuck.

it has access to grit. And it drinks water. For the last week I’ve put ACV with the mother stuff in the water. I cut a chunk of poop the size of a walnut off it’s butt last weekend. Maybe it just has sticky poo?

JUST A QUICK bounce in and then back to "something' made it to mass today and for some reason (maybe I didn't read last weeks bulletin) BUT they had confirmation today , Working on cooking down more maters that got ahead of me eating them. Second loaf of squash bread in the oven, I tried 2 different recipies we shall see.

It's flipping snowing/raining outside. BIG , HUGE fluffy flakes, thankfully they don't live long on the ground.

I swear by it for chicks and I don't mess with the expensive stuff. cheapest I can find.

BUT you should not use it in metal waterer's BAD JUJU
