Not the first riding cart in wal mart today. I was in the frozen foods section and dropped a dinner. Felt like crying cause I knew I had to pick it up. Some one must of seen me struggling and all I ever seen was a pr. of hands picking it up and putting it in my hands. Never seen their face as by the time I was able to stand up they were gone. Little things people. They mean the world sometimes.

How fast does wire neck happen? This chick is a week old and was fine 2 hrs ago. I came home to this plus 1 dead buried under the sheddings. I drenched it and then added drench to their water.

I dont think that wry neck. It does happen really fast though. Check the coop for a snake ? something that might of threw them in shock ?

it’s in a brooder in the garage. No snakes can get in. Both are a week old. Was running around fine before I left.

I was talking to DH about keeping 2 males because they might fight. He says no problem, just eat the loser.

Maybe you should eat the winner, the loser might be the more gentle bird.

Have you ever checked into solar panels ? I would love to be able to hook some up.

Can't do it direct, no sun at night. Would need to have a battery. And resistance heat is hungry from the electricity point of view.
