Wow. So. Hubs did a thing. I got edible arrangements delivered to me at work - with a note saying he’s looking forward to our date night. (I implemented that over the weekend. Once a week we will have a “date night” - with no cellphones, YouTube, or negativity. And I decreed it to be Wednesday’s.) I think he must have gotten shamed for not doing anything for my birthday lol.

Thanks for asking. Not as bad as i thought i might feel. But then i did take a pain pill once i ate something. My forehead hurts a lot if it is touched. But i have 20 or so stitches.

Guess you'll be sleeping on your back for a while. Hope the pain recedes quickly.

They do a brow lift, to get the eyebrows back up where they belong and lift the extra skin up.
They tell you to sleep in a recliner or boost your head up with pillows. No laying flat.

I would like to go see a skin dr. Old age is bringing all kinds of interesting little bumps and knots in some of the weirdest places. I asked her to take a thing off my face last time I was there and she wouldnt so I asked to borrow her knife and she looked alarmed. I have an appt. w/ her tomorrow. If I remember I will ask.

Aloha peeps! Last full day in Maui. We leave tomorrow, but won't get home until early am Friday.

There are feral chickens all over the place here. Went to this little market today, and they were there too!

They were waiting for handouts from the man running the shop. He gave me an egg from the hen. Breakfast tomorrow!

When I say the chickens are all over, I'm not joking!

Broody. Had 2 eggs and the shop lady slipped 2 more under her, so hoping for 4 chicks.

Needless to say I did not buy anything from that bin. Actually, nothing from the whole table... broody was growling. Ferocious!
