Granny's gone and done it again

Cap, do your cats enjoy the scratching post you made ? I need one but so far all I have found is small cheep made and costly. Seen a really nice used one for sale $40.00 but Im afraid to use something another cat may have been sick.
Yes, they use it quite a bit, especially in the winter since it is close to the wood stove ( but not too close) and they like how warm it is.

I guess I could rig something up but I tried before and attaching the carpet was a devil to do.

Yeah, not easy without a pneumatic stapler. Some folks wind rope around a post with glue on it.

I have been adding lots of water to the bator for the Tolbunt eggs. I think the woodstove makes the air dry.
It does. Keep a kettle of water on it. Then you'll have hot water for tea too!

Kids were 5th grade. They knew better. And they were told ahead of time that they need to dress warm because of the temps. They were there in 3rd grade I believe also.
They learn better suffering just a bit... natural consequences. 5th graders are starting that too cool for school stage of their lives... Can't tell me nuthin! But it's always someone else's fault, ey?

I have things I need to do/can be doing H2o. I am depressed and dont want to do anything except complain I guess. I could try to draw, chickens, ect... I just dont have the want to. What I do want is for this thread to not fail. We are dropping like flys around here and I have a pretty good idea why. Mostly its me. Like Cap said, Peeps come here to have a good time and I just am stuck in a rut right now. Im not sure where that lady went that started this thread . She isnt gone, just hiding and letting life overtake her.

You are a great story teller and have a wonderful sense of humor. If you don't have the energy to do something new, go back through the old thread and post some highlights from yesteryear. Kind of like Granny's Greatest Hits. You put a lot into this thread, once upon time. It was hard work. Maybe it will inspire the rest of us to find our sense of humor and tell some new stories for you.

We do have a teapot on the woodstove, and hubby keeps it filled.
