Dr asked what these last slepping pills did to me. I said I cant remember but it was bad. LOL Tom asked me if I wanted to try one of his. I said Im the one that gave them to you !

The whole idea of getting 8 hrs of sleep at a stretch is coming under scrutiny. It is not how we evolved. The total amount of sleep is more important (naps are good) and being able to sleep long enough, often enough, to get into the stage of sleep where our brain is repaired is a bigger consideration than 8 hrs in a row. It is the modern lifestyle with 8+ hr work days that have led to this. I think people lose a lot of sleep worrying about not getting enough sleep, myself included.

How long will you have company ?

He was just here for the night. Left yesterday to go up and see grandpa, and is probably on a plane back to New York right now. He had come out and work for one week in San Francisco and wanted to visit family while here.
It was good motivation to get me started on dejunking the junk room. Next is the garage... #1 wants to have his hot rod in there over winter. This is another huge project, and most of the junk isn't mine!

Hubs got inspired when we were in Maui last month. We went to Home Depot today and now he is installing a new toilet in the boys' bathroom!

He is grumbling because the total install in the condo took the guy a total of 30 mins. Hubs has been farting around with it longer than that already, and only half way through.

I could have told him no. I needed something to motivate me... it was a good thing. He's 30 something and makes a good living... he can get his own dang hotel room. But he's cheap, so we try to help out a kindred spirit when we can!
