Granny's gone and done it again

Oh I like the old 60's hard rock as well like CSNY and Santana.
Well. Phew. What a day. Luckily a smaller payroll this week - only 111 guys - and I got it all checked and entered in 8 hours. Phew. That’s a freaking record.
Had a gentlemen come in looking for a job as a foreman. Well, right now we’re not exactly hiring (note smaller payroll) and he fills it out and I tell him when I see that’s what he’s going for “well, I’ll put it in front of our bosses but I don’t think we’re hiring for this right now” “oh well I can do senior carpenter or something too” note - his work experience is all estimating/office work.
And then he tries to get me to accept something as valid ID that wasn’t on my I-9 list. Oh but you need to be vetted for all this and that and the other. It’s like a passport card. (But it’s not. So no dude.)
Anyway, I give his application to boss man instead of he who usually gets it since he was looking for such a senior position and told him I wasn’t too impressed with this guy. (Turns our this guy is known to bossman and ain’t no way he’s coming aboard)
Moral of the story: don’t aggravate the office girls. Even if this guy wasn’t known to bossman as being a pita, I can tell you right now the bosses would take what’s I say into consideration.
Was late coming home tonight as I was doing a grocery shop for desert stuff. Got home, and hubs had done some cleaning in the camper. Holy crap!! I was shocked.
