Good because my throat hurts every morning.

My throat is better. I'm keeping busy though, hacking up a lung. The coughing seriously hurts my head... thank goodness for advil. Rain countdown- under 24 hrs now! At least for my neck of the woods, but the onshore breeze should start up this evening and that will help you too.

Morning all, 10 glorious hours of sleep . Only up once ( I think) to potty . Seems like a distant memory .
I hope Ca. gets the rain its calling for. If not I will break down and do my Indian dance for you. Its been a few yrs but I do remember how. HOW . LOL

Hi Attimus! Long time no see. Benny was trying to keep your cooking thread going for awhile. I look forward to more of your posts. Hope you and the family are doing well.

DIL insists the children must go to Disney for their birthdays and first hair cuts. Not that they can afford it.

Maybe DIL needs a job/second job to pay for those trips. Depending on the day, one day tickets range from $97-$135. Let's see, for a family of 4 that is $388- $540. Not including parking and a bunch more for food.

Today we went to an Amish general store, a creamery (cheese store) and a candy shop! We had cheese and crackers (and olives and dates) because we accidentally skipped lunch.

Hello Attimus, good to meet you. Read a lot of your posts while I was lurking around before I became a member. Been wondering whatever became of the guy that did all the cooking but I couldn't remember your name. After joining up I kinda gravitated towards Granny's. Not sure how great an addition I am. Lol

Nice looking store but the peeps behind the counter are not amish. Not real ones anyway. Lot of electric and skin showing. Plus they would throw a fit of you taking their pictures.
I went to town to get dog food. Didnt realize I was out . forgot the cat litter I am also out of. They lost electric just a I was paying. Now all the stores are w/o power Homes too. again. I was a nervous wreck driving home. Didnt see lights anywhere til I got to my road. Thank God we still have power.
Wanna know a secret ? I dislike chicken and dumplins.
