I am going to try and steal this Camping. LOLOL Dr. Anita Buzz !

Nice looking store but the peeps behind the counter are not amish. Not real ones anyway. Lot of electric and skin showing. Plus they would throw a fit of you taking their pictures.
I went to town to get dog food. Didnt realize I was out . forgot the cat litter I am also out of. They lost electric just a I was paying. Now all the stores are w/o power Homes too. again. I was a nervous wreck driving home. Didnt see lights anywhere til I got to my road. Thank God we still have power.
Wanna know a secret ? I dislike chicken and dumplins. :gig:sick

I think the shop is run by mennonites. There were horse/buggies parked outside.

Granny, it’s a general store for the community, Amish and otherwise. You can get bulk dried goods like pasta, seasonings, beans, etc. But they also sell “modern” amenities like batteries, and electric appliances. And they sell Amish furniture and quilts. It’s a neat shop, we always make it a point to stop. Prices are super cheap, because it’s not a tourist stop. We have to drive hour and a half to the middle of nowhere.

Actually, it’s the villages of Van Buren, if anyone has heard of it. This link has pics of The Dutchman’s store and the Milton Creamery! https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.th...individual-villages-20160103?template=amphtml
