Pouring rain here and 0 eggs for the 2nd day in a row.
All the serama eggs were duds and Binks ate 8 of them After he had been fed twice

Glad the eggs were duds. It's been raining all day, but warm. 58 outside right now.

I need to float test these eggs i had in the garage. If still good i will cook them for the birds.

Cap, I had some eggs on the counter for weeks and weeks. I float tested and they all popped right to the top. Opened a few, and they were fine. Only one was a bit rotten from a hairline crack. I boiled them up and fed back to the mob. No problems. They float because they dry out. Doesn't necessarily mean they are bad.

First of all, cover with hardware cloth to prevent critters getting in. Then you could put 2 pieces of plywood on like shutters, with hinges.

Told him I didnt want to. He insisted I know how to load and shoot it. I fired one shot . Scared me like a can of biscuits and I swung around to him w/ 4 more bullets in the dang thing and he grabbed the barrel away before it was pointing right at his gut. That boy moved fast !
