I know! I keep saying no more animals, but I love g-pigs (weep weep weep!) and that dog breaks my heart. She looks old and could be a sibling to my Belle, the resemblance is so strong. Old dogs are hard to place, but we could make a nice home for her for what time she has left. In the same situation, I would hope someone would do the same for my dog.

No, my BFF is not married. Her husband died of cancer, and then once she finally found a BF, he died suddenly when he was buying a house to be near her. And she has had about 4 of her dear dogs die of old age recently.

No, unfortunately she lives in Bradenton FL. She has loads of friends there. But we worked together 10 years and became very close. I miss seeing her.

Sadly, the joy of Christmas is a bit squashed here as my daughter, the mother of 4 of my GKs, does not believe in giving gifts at Christmas. Something in the way she interprets the Bible.

That's so sad Pert. Giving is the theme of the day, but someone has to receive for others to give. Especially for Grandpas to give. Too bad she can't bend a little and allow you to keep a good tradition alive, since it means so much to you.

My grandkids are cheated out of believing in Santa because their mother thinks it is lying to the kids. She disgusts me.
