I have plans to knit scarves for my Grandkids.

I just want to get this order filled so I can get to the kids' stuff. ATM I am feeling like my kids are not knit worthy. I fund a pair of mittens I had knitted for one of them on the floor covered in I don't even want to know.

Woke up to a dusting of snow. I could broom it off the steps, but forget it I don't want to encourage visitors. I really don't want to deal with people today.
Waiting for the kids to get up so we can go feed the critters. They decided that they can stay up most of the night and still get up on time for chores. Guess who was wrong? Guess who will be going to bed early tonight?
Gonna give them extra ration this morning to get them warmed up faster. Although I can see on the security cameras that the chickens are already waiting at the gate for me to feed them. The guineas are on the front deck demanding food now.
Better go get the kids up and the critters fed.

Morning all, I crashed last night. Slept pretty good too. 11-7 with 2 wake ups .
Thanks for the reminder to tell Tom happy from Linda @twisted-acres-farm I probably would of forgot.
I did open the cherries unfortunately they are gross so I gave them to Tom. LOL They taste like booze.

When you give yours to either H20 or Wishing it will be shared among this thread. You can then request a copy of all of our addys if you want them and send as many or as few cards as you like.
We have been doing this for a few yrs now and we all enjoy it.
As you see I put my addy on this thread . I have never received the first death threat or hate mail. I dont recommend you put it here but its as safe as possible on the pm . So far the worse that has happened is I got some lovely visitors from here.

I went and checked on the garden. Wish I had harvested some marigolds before the freeze, bet they were so pretty. I’ll still get seeds from them. I had a few bell peppers! And I’ll have plenty of okra seeds. I pulled a couple carrots, going to let the rest keep going. And the strawberries really took off!

Granny, happy belated birthday to Tom from me and the mothercluckers as well!

Still trying to catch up on sleep from the weekend. Ain’t gonna happen. Staaaaaarrrrbucks.

Think this weekend we’re going to start the quest for a motor home. Tired of dealing with the cab over camper of doom (I do like the layout but it is rotting away....it’s from the 70s for crying out loud - and now that hubs is rocking his desert toy truck instead of the off-roadvo I’m concerned about our tow rig truck handling all that weight). Thing is with the weight we need to tow behind said motor home that means we need to get a class a diesel pusher...kinda have our eye on a 33’ right now. Even it being 25 years old it’s still $20k. Gah.

Yeah, kids are like that. I saw a quilt i made on the floor in the garage. That made me sad.

Why do you say that? If they send the sample to a lab to be bx there is going to be another charge.
