Granny's gone and done it again

Makes the pizza cold, weighs 50 lbs and hard to wash
50 pounds?? Granny, don't use that slab of granite for a cutting board!!! Use one made of wood, not heavy at all.

and some other goodies :yesss: Box was marked perishable. Mail man said it should of been here the 14th . 3 days late.

But couldnt fry a chicken to save my life.
The chickens were probably quite happy about that!

No way. I know the basics and even then I’m technically wrong on names. Did I ever tell you my home economics teacher and I got into a hardcore argument over a spatula? The correct term is turner. A spatula is something you ice a cake with. Then it got real bad when I told her that was what a butter knife was for lol that class about did her in, she retired shortly after.
I think you would have a WHOLE LOT of people on your side of the spatula argument. I have NEVER heard someone refer to those things we use to flip things over or take them out of a pan as a "turner". It is a spatula.

also I NEVER use cooking spray that stuff can make a real mess
Right! All the stuff that DOESN'T have food on it gets all gummy then hardens like a rock on the cookware.

It committed suicide with a hammer?

I use pam spray .
And you wonder why your baking sheets are all discolored? There is no way to keep that stuff from getting all over.

well what are you supposed to do when stuff sticks ?
Use a silpat or parchment paper in the oven! I've found that the best non stick thing for cast iron on the stove is .... BUTTER! Not good at higher temps though because it burns at a lower temperature than some oils.

you were asking about trufels earlier
DD1 makes truffles when she makes bread. Have to do something wit the egg yolks, her bread needs only whites.

Rather have them with facial hair than tattoos or piercings.
For sure, easy to change your mind later and no permanent reminders other than pictures.

I might as well just leave google tab open .
Yep, I use Google a bunch of times every day.

this recipe is from Nordic Ware not the one I use

6 eggs
  • 1 1/ 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup butter, melted and cooled
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla
  • 3 1/ 2 cups flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
No salt? I've always heard that baking powder needs salt to do its thing.

OR I don't want to disappoint people. I get lots of comments about my letter and thankyou's from other people who send me cards.
Those people who DON'T include a letter? Well then they shouldn't expect one!

Morning. Managed to go to town for gas and a few groceries. Being active makes my stomach clench up in knots. DH has a trash can beside the bed, so I guess he’s not great either.
Geez, I am sorry you two are still down!

Dinner in the oven. Making 2 actually. Shephards pie and chicken pot pie.
Love both of those. In fact had Shepherd's pie from the deli for lunch today.

Very clever Twist! Is it just colored or is there also a flavor from a red food?

Pancake turner or spatula when I am flipping things on the stove. Paddle when , ohh you get the idea. LOL If you say paddle I will still know what your talking about.
Dinner was good desert was better.
everyone fighting over the butter cookies .
ONLY use my cast iron for corn bread. I dont wash it unless I see something has been in it. Wipe it out w/ a paper towel. Never sticks

Mail is never this late. Playing tic tac toe on my nose from the screen door .
Camping, I want some ! They looked good . I wrapped croissants around hot dogs but family prefers bacon wrapped
Granny you are spoiled!

It is 60° outside and 67° inside but i am cold from wearing rubber boots. If your feet are cold, you are totally cold!
The feeder is installed in the brooder as well as a wire box to hold the 2 heat lamps. One with a regular bulb and one with a red heat lamp bulb. Need to see if i can fit one more perch in there, hang the waterer and then move the Tolbunts in there.
