Granny's gone and done it again

I used the classic 4.5qt last night at home, and the camp has the ProHD 5qt type.

For my preferences, I think the hand mixer works better for my needs. But I was worried about the oatmeal being too gummy for it.
How di$ the cookies turn out?

Talk about the devil. LOL Jacob, this is him.
Attimus, Jacob is a good boy. Hasnt been out of school long.
Was in and out last night. Hello. The links will be fixed when I pay for a premium membership. I'll tag him there though. :)

Still trying to wrap my head around the update as well. So much is f
Different and so much is the same, or just slightly off. Getting it sorted out. Might have been an easier transition had I not stepped out for a bit.

Might not have been.

Good evening everyone! Guess I missed the party... had myself a little nap earlier... sigh. Sleep cycle is all thrown off now. First world problem, right? :D

Mmmm... I am a reluctant cook (to put it nicely), so can really only offer sympathy for being "forced" to cook! :D Whatever you end up with, let us know.
You did give me a good idea though... I'm going to make a jello cake like my grandma used to, but lemon instead of her orange. There are tons of recipes online, but this basically involves making a yellow cake mix (hush up, Twist) with granulated jello added in. Poke a bunch of holes in the top of the cake and pour on a simple lemon glaze. Everyone always loves it, even fussy people! :p

Wow. You did good today! Go mom!! :love

Porter's practically nekkid! Where's all his hair? Looks like he's ready for a day at the beach and not a ND winter.

uhmmm... Tibbit's son would be Porter's grandson. You'd be breeding him to Porter's daughters who are aunties to Tibbits II. Nephew to aunt somehow seems worse than breeding cousins.

Tibbets II would only have 25% Porter genes if Tibbets bred one of the completely unrelated cows.

Then if T-II was bred to a related aunt (with 50% Porter genes), you'd get offspring with closer to 38% Porter genes (half from each parent). Chromosomes mix and recombine when sperm and egg cells are produced, so it can be more or less 38%.

Aw, you quit beating up on poor Tom!

Hallelujah!!

:lau This from the teetotaler!

Whoa! Lot of quail?
I am getting a few Serama eggs now that I have the heat lamp on for them all night. Only have one large hen laying... good old Spike!

SO a Tibbits x unrelated to anyone would NOT be so bad and a possible "short" term solution as opposed to spending 3000 to 10,000 on a new bull. THANK YOU :bow:bow:bow
