Yes, reading helps a lot, and doing puzzles too, crosswords, sudoku, word jumbles, math and logic problems. Your brain needs exercise as much as your muscles do!

It's not as good as the old one. You could search within a particular thread, and that's what I used the most.

Watch out for lasik. Mom had her eyes done and now she needs reading glasses.

We are checking it out as I am legally blind in the one eye. Astigmatism is so bad there is no lens that can correct it.

Are your "junkie" neighbors renting? Some complaints to the right people might get them evicted.

Yes, they rent. The landlord does not care as long as they pay rent. He has had others in the house that caused issues. Even had a drug bust at the house and he keeps putting junkies and escorts back in the place.
The sheriff will not even respond to calls out this way. We might get a callback, but they never file any complaints or charges out here.
