Camping, you didnt get anything even the other day when you guys celebrated Christmas ? That makes me mad for you. I would like to be able to tell them so too.

I told mom a thing I wanted, but she had trouble ordering it. She gave me the cash to get it, but it was under the table so I didn’t have anything to unwrap. My feelings aren’t hurt, she’s been so unwell lately that I’m impressed she was able to get things for DH and the kids.

I put dark chocolate cordial cherries in my stocking, and I had wrapped a new purse I bought myself on Black Friday. That’s also when DH gave me the necklace.

He says all the time that we won’t do gifts for each other, and I’ll agree. Then he’ll buy me something and I’ll be the empty-handed goose. so this year I got him gifts while still agreeing not to buy. So he’s the empty-handed goose! I got him a brass compass with a sundial on it, and engraved the back. It’s very fancy. Then I gave mom a link for a bow drill kit. He’s going camping next weekend so he’ll be able to use them.
