I asked hubs, and he says it's hard to glue plastic to plastic without a special epoxy. He thought you might have luck with some caulking type stuff or silicon.I didnt go out and I am disappointed in the gorilla glue. I would Not recommend it. It might keep the mice out but barely Had weight on it 22 hrs. Called for 2. I can peel a coner up but I didnt mess w/ it cause I dont think a mouse can.
Put the bowl down on something hard and flat (wooden board, piece of plastic, concrete paver) and the mice won't be able to get under if you block up the hole where the cord goes through. Wad of aluminum foil might work to keep mice from getting through.then the chickens can just do w/o water cause if I pick that thing up and they come out its gonna lay there from now on.
Did you send him some of yours for Christmas ?maybe he took a "little blue pill" and that's why
