depends one year power was out and roads closed. So I made soup on my gas stove and feed everyone , extra blankets and let them huddle in my kitchen to try and stay warm.

One nice thing about ND the weather is still a bigger enemy/threat then people

Gas stores are the best. Nice of you to look after your guests. Big chain hotels would let you freeze in the room then charge rent!
