Granny's gone and done it again

I tried everything. Unemployment, I was trying to get health insurance but you can only apply during a certain time blah blah blah. I’ve not had insurance in 2 years. Doctors are expensive and I only go if I absolutely need too. But it still adds up.

Part of it. The other was from the holidays. Too many people around drains me and there was too much touching and hugging at Christmas and New Years. I am not doing holidays this year. I need a family break lol
The other part is I have no time. Or I feel like it anyway. I have so much to get caught up on. I need to do laundry, finish cleaning my room (from thanksgiving!). Clean the garage, move things around, the snails need a bigger tank. And don’t get me started on outside.

:hugsThat’s sweet, I need to visit. We need to get through this so called blizzard that everyone is flipping out about lol we are calling for 4-7” and
There was 2 loaves of bread on the shelf and maybe 15 gallons of milk left at Walmart lol

Lol! That wouldn’t matter to me and you know it. I can’t stand for things to be too clean. I swear mom has OCD cleaning. Growing up it was awful.
She can’t let dishes sit for a few hours and she flips over dust like it’s coke sprinkled everywhere and the cops are knocking at the door.

When is it supposed to hit? Where can you get more?

Eh, I can still sub but I don’t know when that will be next. Might be spotty. This was long term so I knew ahead of time. Day to day is bad. You never know when you’ll get a call. Several times I’ve been called between 6:45 and 7am. And I have to be clocked in at 7:25.
well, I aint going anywhere so whenever you need a break. My house is pretty boring.

Yeah "on call" sub is rough. Someone doesn't know they (or a kid) are sick and can't come in until they wake up in the morning. Keep your eyes open for a permanent though I guess those really don't show up until the end of the school year when people retire.

Oh, I have a GREAT idea! wander all the schools looking for late term pregnant women, they'll need a long term sub soon! :D
I have a better idea, YOU go make sure they get knocked up.

Came home yesterday and butterscotch has wry neck. So I put vitamins in the water and dipped her beak. Everyone else was acting fine. This morning my mottled Cochin pullet was dead. When I got home a silkie was dead and the mottled cockerel couldn’t walk! Butterscotch was perked up a bit and walking around. Idk what’s going on!

Botulism? I read a homesteading article about it the other day. The old timers called it rubber neck. I think that’s what happened to mine this late summer.

They are supposed to call in by 6am. Very rarely is someone actually sick. They really abuse the sick days here.

Lol I know of 1 pregnant lady and she’s due in May I think. She had a sub lined up the minute she found out she was pregnant.
