Granny's gone and done it again

Oh no! Did you see where Charlie passed on? Hubby buried him for me today. Hugs Allie.
So your fav silkie and a calf died? Dang, that sucks.
I seen your post on fb earlier, I left a comment. Poor old guy, he had a good life with you. Mini will be lost without her sidekick.

Yeah Rudy my first silkie. She was fine then the other day she was down and her face was all droopy on the one side. No signs of infection it looked like a stroke. She had a vaulted skull so maybe something happened. She was eating so I hoped she’s snap out of it.

We had no idea anyone was due to calve. No one but the one Mom with a calf has a bag. Dad said it had white on the face so it must have been Firefly, ladybug, or Sven as the mom. The rest don’t carry the genetics for the white.

Good evening.

Yes granny, but I feel bad for the kids that the parents just don’t care or don’t have time or resources to get them ready for whatever day it is.
Frankly I hate that stuff. "Peer pressure" by the school authorities to do things you don't want to do, don't have the time to do or just don't have the money to buy stuff you have no other use for.

Hanging in there. Lost my favorite silkie and one of the cows calved and it fell in the pond. We found it when we went to break the ice after work.
:hitThis year just HAS to get better for you Alley! :hugs

So sorry to hear about your Charlie, I had to have my 18 year peke put down last summer, he was blind, deaf and couldn't even walk to his food bowl at the end. It was heart breaking

I remember dressing up for spirit week as a kid, but it was like “crazy socks” or “hat day.” These are getting really weird and hard to do. I wish they would send home explanation sheets.

or here's a concept actually "teach the kids" and work on lesson plans instead of figuring out yet more ways to stress out parent's and possibly force them to waste/spend money on BS or get kids to feel back because they didn't dress up
