Granny's gone and done it again

Bruce can you post a pic of your exchequer leghorn? I may have included one in my chick order without 100% knowing what they look like all grown up haha. Morning all. Not sure what to do with sickie red today. Was going to leave her with peach in the dog run but I get home after dark so...hmm.

I think I would put her in the brooder.

Well. She’s hanging out in the dog yard. Peach will probably feast on chicken poop and food but...it’s way too small to leave her in the brooder all day.

Still salty that hubs got rid of the kennel we had for a grow out pen. That would have been perfect - and that’s why I wanted to keep it.

Because they are supposed to be Peggy and Sandy. Which are supposed to be leghorns and I don’t want more brown eggs.
That is a good reason!

Luv you lots Pro but I'm not going out with the camera it is 3°F. Here is a link to the Meyer website where I got them in 2017. Other than the comb and a somewhat thinner build Mint looks a lot like my 2012 Ancona from Ideal. After Oreo moulted last fall she came out with a LOT more white feathers. They have been laying at the lower end of USDA small though the website says they lay medium-large.
