I just accidentally ordered one more batch of eggs. At least this way my incubator will be fuller and hold heat better right?

I may have accidentally brought my cabinet incubator into the house since in the shop it is not holding temp. Now I guess I will need more eggs to hatch....

Well. I just got this. I don’t have time to design/Home Depot/build something from scratch. I’ll pick it up after work. Either hubs can build it while I make dinner or I’ll build it and he can wait.

The catch is where they say holds up to eight chickens. Eight littles maybe. More like four or five bigs probably.

Mine are labeled the same way. I’d never put more than 2 standard size adult birds in one. I do have a bunch of banties in mine.

Oh yeah. I’m not expecting it to be huge. But just something for 1-2 full sized would be awesome. I could also use it for some grow out purposes for my April batch too I’m sure.

That may hold 8 babies. I have one of similar size with 3 bantams in it and I am not sure I would put more in there.
