Granny's gone and done it again

OK, I admit it, I have a disease called "out of sight, out of mind". Got it bad.
Here are some chicken pictures as requested.

They look a lot like Yue, she is an Ancona (2012). Sorry for the fuzzy pic, the chickens don't stay still. They get whiter as they age, she was mostly black when she was younger. The obvious difference is that Yue's comb has rounded "points" the others are pointy "points". The first winter Yue's comb was HUGE, I guess she decided to go with a more appropriate size for future cold seasons (never would have guessed that could happen). Never did get frostbite though.

And this is little Lana the Golden Campine (2018) she has been laying in the nest box instead of the hay roll - good girl! Today she laid her biggest egg to date 52 grams, the low end of USDA Medium

Granddaughter, Bella, she loves holding animals. She helped hold boards today so i could get the rabbit cage frame together.
And you knocked her tooth out in the process? ;)

It is a CL. They are nice boys, hatched 2 eggs...both boys. So that means next 2 will be girls, right?
Um are you talking about the bird above (since that is the only one you pictured)? I know you know your birds but that doesn't look like a Cream Legbar to me.

Of course you can!
You artistic people just don't understand!! Some of us can't even make a decent stick figure!

DH also said it was easy. I just need him to show me how.
Hey if I can learn to run a tractor anyone can.

I think mom was just thinking to give me an out. Duck that.
Tell her you appreciate that she is trying to save you time and money but you would really like to be there.

The vet ran tests and xrays and it's hip dysplasia this little pup has the hips of a 12 year old dog is not worse. They haven't decided what to do yet. The vet offered to put him down already or when ever they decide.
Sad. You said pup, how old?

he was mentioning letting the pup be a pup and then when the "bad days" far out number the good , they will probably do the deed.
Likely the best plan, don't know how long that will take. 12 year old hips on a little dog aren't bad because the small ones live to be annoying about forever. But 12 year old hips on a big dog ... many large breeds don't even make it to 12. I worked for a vet in college, I've seen bad cases of hip dysplasia. Not pretty.

and did I mention my brother is Cheap the pain meds are going to run 60 bucks a month.
The thyroid meds for the cat were going to be $65/mo. Went for the radioactive iodine instead. Easier than keeping the other cats out of her medicated food and much cheaper in the long run.

I am postive it is a Cream Legbar cockerel. Not SS or polish, and there are no other breeds here.
