The girls in the original coop are moulting hard, no eggs at all from them today. I am going to start checking for mites etc because someone on Squatchers has it in their flock. Seems like this happened last year around this time.

Oh, and i got the water warmer set up for the turkeys. I think it may have too long legs so i plan to cut them back a bit.

What a long day.

Same. The transport for Hank fell through again. I’m going to transport him myself Monday or Tuesday. So with that settled, kids wanted to have a picnic at the park. DH had to work. DD packed lunches for herself and Bubba.

DH asked what it would take for me to work, and he could take the kids to the park. I said banty chickens. He had said no when I brought it up yesterday.

I worked for two hours with fun people, and I get to buy banty chickens.

yep unless they "muck it up" by putting sauce on it. I like mine nekid and then if I so desire I can sauce it myself.

Somewhere, I think maybe at 35,000 feet, I saw a cooking show where they talked to a sushi guy. He said you eat it with your fingers and dip it in the soy sauce, don't pour the sauce on it. I don't do raw fish so it wasn't real pertinent to my life.

Camping, you eat fish for breakfast? I dont think I have ever heard of that before.

Nope, chives is chives, onions is onions Related but different flavor. Chives and green (bunching, scallions) onions are both hollow tubular green plants, chives are much smaller in diameter. Super easy to grow, they self seed.

Kinda sad story about Hank. They collected $$ for him but they havent done a thing to help him. Tell me if Im wrong. He needed something for his skin day one. He needed a vet which you could of took him to if they would of paid.

It diidnt look scary from the ground. Looked peaceful. Wasnt even close to that once you were up there.

My uncle got stuck at the top of a Ferris Wheel so many decades back I don't remember when it was. He has never, and will never, step on one again.

I loved all the wild rides. The crazier the better. Now it's too painful for the ones that jerk you around, but i nice smooth roller coaster or ferris wheel is fun!

I'm not a "wild ride" person. Make me sick.

The youngest aunt is back from the er - no blood clots so they’re assuming her shortness of breath and other symptoms are from stress/exhaustion.

The lady I’m in contact with is very upset. She said people contact her to help, then don’t return her messages. And she doesn’t have a truck. The money is there to cover exam, medication, neuter, and up to three days of boarding. So I’m just going to drop him off, nbd. His skin has actually scabbed up quite a bit, so I think he is getting better. It’s not the best case for him, but it’s far from the worst.
