Granny's gone and done it again

We all vent on here sometimes. It's good to have a sounding board when you're trying to make a hard decision. It sounds like you already know what's gonna work best for you, I spent 14 years alone, and had serious doubts that I would ever be able to live with anyone before my hubs came along.

It would drive me bat crap crazy to deal with a bunch of drama like that. I got a mean bone if you push my buttons too hard, and find a good deal of solace and security being alone. Look for a place of your own before it hits the fan at your brothers. Check the papers and maybe look for a senior person who needs a helper in exchange for rent. You might still be able to live in the country that way. Might even save some $ on rent.

When you get ready to move out you should be honest with them, they are so used to being dysfunctional they dont realize how it looks to others. I'm sorry you got stuck in the middle.
I hear what you are saying Bama, I am looking out now for somewhere else. It's just hard leaving my brother. We lost our mom at at pretty young age (she was 45) and our dad was a drinker, so him (my brother) and I have always been pretty close. He gets agitated when I talk about leaving lol. But I also know, I can't sit around here and pet him haha. I have been here less than a year, I tried florida for a while but the red tide was so bad for weeks that I had to leave. I'll find somewhere new soon

I know the lady’s mom have chickens, but not sure why it’s penned up now. We had seen it crossing the road to play with cattle.

We don’t have dog pen at the moment. The chicken run/pen is 4ft welded wire. Monday and Friday are the biggest high traffic days, and only a few hours. I didn’t say it, but that’s the concern I was addressing when I said penning for the day.

Maybe I could try him with a few small groups that are “friendly” with us, like board training this weekend, then girls retreat? We also have a few events in April. If he would stay with the ducks, that would be ideal. I know GP are prone to roaming in a radius, as part of their protection tactic. I think we have enough land to accommodate that, and only one neighbor to worry about. We could reinforce the fencing on his side.
I am really surprised your camps insurance even lets you have dogs aroun$ the campers, maybe calif I s just sue happy but a lot of people can’t get homeowners insurance if you hav3 certain breeds of dogs. And kids are not trustworthy I have seen them tease and prod dogs into snapping. You can let 5he campers go intothe farm animal pens?
