I didn't get to go pick up the Mille Fleurs, but i bought some feather footed bantams and some LF Cochin chicks at Rural King. She threw in 3 free ones they had separated due to issues they had. I gave them all save a chick and lined the brooder with that shelf liner that is textured because i was afraid the bantams might stick their feet out through the hardware cloth. And i sprinkled feed around, and filled up a feeder for them.

I could not find the fabric i wanted at Joanne, and most of the coupons were for other dates. I got some smelly pine cones 75% off, and a remnant cheap plus some mostly black wedding fabric. And they ran out of the quilt batting they had on sale. Its annoying!

Barely missed y’all. Up to 16 chicks and five? pips in the hatcher. Bator isn’t going as well. Eggs look days behind. I like this one.

howdy all

caught up , xbox'd with brother and mended 14 sheets and 3 pillow cases, one towel and a shirt. Also washing curtains. Evidently I manage to "tork" angie off as she brought them up this am.

Think I am going to veg in front of the tube for a bit.

Alley, I found a ironing board in the mud room I had no clue ! It is a small one and still has plastic so ya.. Hasnt been used. No iron BUT Also in the mud room propping the door open is a cast iron iron. LOL Guess it will/can work.

Up to 33 now but one is ftt. It didn’t finish absorbing the yolk. Might try to perk it up with some vitamins. I cleaned all the chicks from the bator except the ftt, and a pure rir. Two eggs are pipped and when they hatch I’ll move it all back home.

The marans/JG are doing really well! Five are out and two pipped. They’re hatching more cleanly than the hatcher babies. Also two pure somethings... not sure. Might be marans, but the eggs are so light it doesn’t matter. They’re all black with white wings/chests.

Looks like it has some intestines out. I think I would cull it unless Im seeing wrong.

I think it’s just yolk. I don’t know how intestines would be out. But I don’t know why it’s saggy like that, because it was a normal “ball” this morning.

I had to take back the old battery and the wind shield wipers to Wal-Mart today, wipers didn't fit after the guy said they would. I went to Auto Zone after hubby said they had some. Nope. Went to some other place and had to pay freaking $20 per blade for some that fit. What the heck!

Must have been a dream. You can't fly ANYWHERE from Burlington VT for $89 let alone Hawaii.

Ally, no secure lid here. I guess I will need to go for some algae eaters.

I have some snails in my aquarium. Not fancy ones like Alley. I have to clean the algae off the glass.
