Apparently, my mother had life insurance that my sister said was split between all 5 of us kids. IRS went through my financials looking for the inheritance I was supposedly given.

Why would the IRS care since it isn't taxable ..... unless they were chasing down your sister that apparently stole that from you as well.

Finally bought youth boys size 7 black Nikes with black soles.

Curious. Nike is too narrow for me, New Balance fit well in wide.

Hi everyone Have been taking advantage of some non-rainy weather. Cleaned out the mob's coop yesterday... boy did it need it! yuck Santa (EE) has been roosting up high on top of a storage cabinet and the top was inches deep in poop, and Buster Posey has been sleeping in one of the nest boxes with the same result. All cleaned out, and I blocked off both areas so the entire mob is all upset. Only one green egg today and I think Spike (lorp) is getting broody . #1 just got home and found a hidden nest of Ginger (Welsummer) eggs with a couple of Spike eggs mixed in. Really glad he found that nest, near the garage, because Spike was sitting on it!! and the coop pop door was already shut!! It's on a timer... got to reset that tomorrow. So #1 carried Spike to the coop and as soon as he put her down, an egg fell out!! So not broody I guess. #1 said her timer is off. Chicken adventures!

The entire estate was supposedly divided by the 5 of us. I and my two brothers never saw a cent. When we filed our taxes for that year we did not claim the inheritance from the estate on our taxes. They were looking at tax evasion or fraud. I had to prove I got nothing from my mother passing. The Death Tax was not paid and they were going after each of us for it. The one brother got out of it as he was in prison at the time. (he took mom's car after she told him he no and she pressed charges)
The inheritance I was supposed to have received would have put us into a higher tax bracket.
