Granny's gone and done it again

Sorry, I ended up falling asleep. surprise, surprise...

Those 2 day salads are the best!

More outdoor chores today, since it's sunny. Got to get it all done before Mon or Tues when we are supposed to get 3-4 more days of rain... about 4 inches which is huge around here. I'll take it over a drought any day!

Hope you are feeling good today. :hugs Tell Tom hello and give him a hug from me.
We had a beautiful sunny day. I dont remember if it was yesterday or a couple days ago but the sun felt so very good on me.

Like but aaahhh

We weren’t truly hunting. We were driving the scenic route along the nature preserve.

Holy moly! How far do you have to go to run across a gator? (We have them at the zoo.) And those are some BIG babies. We all use "mama bear" to refer to a protective mother, but mama gator might give the bear a run for her money. Either way, I'll keep my distance.

There’s a big nature preserve in Cameron Parish along the Creole Nature Trail. It’s called Pintail Drive (because I know you like to look things up). I think they’re last year’s babies. They grow a foot per year on average, and they’re about a foot at hatch.

Camping, are you out of your Christmas tree ?? We who ?

DH’s godparents. We were safe in the car!

Yes, it does feel GOOD this time of year. Come summer, though, I will be back hiding under my dang hat.

The gators eat those beautiful ducks?? :( Probably snappers too. Poor birdies, but I guess that's how it works.
