I got the turkey feeder installed today. And i got chicken wire along one whole side of the hoop coop, on top of the 2"x5" welded wire.

No, i cut glass for the feed level indicator. Yes, it is heavy. I used scrap wood and pressboard. It will be inside the coop.

Twist, Robert just helped me (did most of) making some mixed greens in the crock pot w/ one of the last 2 ham hocks you sent. Making that tonight and soup beans tomorrow in the crock . So starting a dinner 3 days in advance.
I never did them in the crock pot before. I got all kinds of good stuff in there. No way they can taste bad.

I mounted it on the wall, so it is at a good level for them to eat from. I find the turkeys interesting. They used to follow me around when i let them loose. But since the hens are likely to start laying soon, i am keeping them contained. I have one Tom that is pushy. May end up eating him.
