I’ve lost 2 in the tank. They were big so I assume old age. 1 got out and died. I have probably 200+ babies. And 5 or 6 clutches left.

Thats a lot of snail. Did you get good colors ?

Just seen a wicked cool turtle tank. A 300 gallon stock tank. I should have done that.

You still can! And if that 75 gal tank happens to mosy to Indiana ...........

They really haven’t gained much color yet. Other than light vs dark I have no clue yet lol I think maybe next month I’ll know more. The oldest were hatched on Valentine’s Day.

Lol! I’ve already spent too much on the 75 so that’s what they get. If I had seen the 300 stock before I bought the tank and filter then maybe I would have done that. Regardless the tank has to go downstairs because of weight.

Given 300 gallons of water weighs over a ton, I wouldn't want to even contemplate the stand it would need!

In my mind it would sit on the floor and I would build a stand around it and use that as the basking area. With enough space underneath for the filter. High walls in the back and plexi in the front to see into.

They don’t eat too much luckily. I dropped a protein wafer in Friday. I’m going to grow them to pea size then maybe put them in the bigger tanks. For now.
